Which heating element fits my Pure Water distiller?
Mini Classic CT: WD716B (750 W, 110 V) or WD716BV (240 V). SteamPure and Aqua Clean: WD632 (650 W, 110 V) or WD632V (240 V). Midi Classic, Midi D, Midi Still, SS-4 and SS-5: WD633 (1000 W, 110 V) or WD633V (240 V). Mega Classic, Aqua D, Aqua Fountain, Aqua Still and A-12: WD634 (1500 W, 110 V) or WD634V (240 V).
Which condensing coil fits my Pure Water distiller?
Mini Classic CT: WD712. SteamPure, MD-4 and Aqua Clean: WD657. Midi Classic (1999–current): WD720. Newer-style Midi and Midi D: WD627. Older-style Midi, Midi Still, SS-4 and SS-5: WD607. Mega Classic (old style), A-12, Aqua D and Aqua Fountain: WD626. Fountain Classic: WD729. C-50, C-60 and C-75: WD31569A.
My Pure Water distiller is not heating. What part do I need?
A distiller that will not heat is usually caused by the heating element, the element controller (WD718B on the Mini Classic CT) or a tripped or failed thermal reset switch (WD601 fits many Pure Water models). Call 612-701-7820 and describe the problem — they can help you identify the part or repair the unit for you.
What filters does the Pure Water Mini Classic CT use?
The Mini Classic CT uses coconut-carbon post-filters that reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) after distillation. They are sold in 2-packs and 4-packs, and in a Mini Classic CT maintenance kit that also includes descaler. The SteamPure has its own maintenance kit with two filters and descaler.
How do I clean scale out of my Pure Water distiller?
Use a distiller descaler in the boiling tank to dissolve mineral scale, following your owner’s manual. WaterDistillers.com sells a sulfamic-acid distiller descaler and cleaner, and maintenance kits that combine descaler with replacement filters.
Are 240-volt Pure Water parts available?
Yes. 240-volt versions are available for many electrical parts, including heating elements WD716BV, WD632V, WD633V and WD634V, the WD635V solenoid valve, the WD721V Midi fan kit, the WD667V Mini Classic fan kit and the WD7257V Mega Classic auto drain valve.
